Harmonious Access Care was created to offer personalised, down-to-earth disability support from a team you can rely on.
The team behind Harmonious Access Care brings over five years of combined experience across nursing, midwifery, aged care, mental health, and disability support. We’ve worked in clinical, home-based, and community settings, supporting people with a range of physical and psychosocial needs.
Through this work, we’ve seen how important it is to provide support that feels steady, thoughtful, and adapted to each individual—not just their diagnosis. We started Harmonious Access Care to bring together everything we’ve learnt into a service that values people’s choices and routines, while still being flexible enough to change as their lives change too.
At Harmonious Access Care, we create support plans that are shaped around the individual, not around a system. We start by getting to know you—what’s working, what’s missing, and what could make your life a little easier. That might mean assistance with personal care, daily routines, transport, community outings, or building skills for more independence.
Some people need help getting things done at home, while others want support to feel more confident out and about. Whatever your goals, we take a calm, practical approach and adjust along the way so your support keeps making sense.
We’re here to provide support that’s practical, dependable, and built on mutual respect. Everything we do is shaped by the belief that good care should feel personal, well-considered, and genuinely useful in day-to-day life.
Our mission is to provide personalised, compassionate, and reliable disability support that reflects each person’s goals, preferences, and circumstances. We’re here to support individuals in building independence, feeling respected, and having real choice in how their care is delivered.
Our vision is a community where people with disabilities are supported to live how they choose, with equal access to opportunities, services, and connection. We aim to create support environments where individuals feel empowered, included, and respected.
Because we live and work in Townsville, we understand the local area, the services available, and the challenges that can come up when trying to access support. We know where the gaps are, and we do our best to help fill them—whether that’s through the services we provide directly or by linking you with trusted organisations nearby.
Over time, we’ve built strong partnerships with local groups, which means we can often find solutions faster or help you get access to other supports that complement what we’re already doing. It’s about making life smoother, not more complicated.
Our values guide how we work, how we treat people, and how we show up every day. They reflect what matters to us—and what you can expect when you connect with Harmonious Access Care.
We take the time to get to know the individuals we work with and offer support that is patient, warm, and genuinely thoughtful.
We believe in doing what we say we will, being honest in every interaction, and keeping things clear and straightforward.
We recognise that everyone has different ways of living, communicating, and making decisions—and we honour that in everything we do.
We work closely with participants, families, carers, and other professionals to make sure our support feels complete and well-connected.
We encourage and support people to make their own decisions, set their own goals, and feel confident navigating their day-to-day life.
If you or someone you know are looking for the kind of support that fits into your everyday routine, reach out and chat with our team.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we operate and recognise their continuing connection to land, water, and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging.
