Townsville
We know that choosing the right NDIS provider isn’t always straightforward. Below are some common questions we get. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, get in touch with us via the contact form above, give us a call or send us an email.
At Harmonious Access Care, tailoring support plans starts with a proper conversation. We don’t hand you a pre-set list of services—we sit down with you to understand how your days usually go, what’s important to you, and what kind of support would make things easier.
That might include help at home, getting out more, or building confidence with everyday tasks. We also look at your NDIS goals and how we can work together to help you move towards them. Your preferences, routines, and priorities shape everything we do.
Over time, we check in and adjust the plan if your needs or circumstances change. Whether you prefer structure or flexibility, we’ll create a plan that feels like it fits your life—not one that disrupts it. Our goal is always to provide support that’s clear, reliable, and useful, without making things feel clinical or complicated.
Yes—your support is never set in stone.
We understand that needs can shift over time. You might become more confident in one area, need extra help in another, or want to try something different altogether. That’s why we regularly check in with you about how things are going. If something’s not working or you want to explore new goals, we’ll talk it through and update your support plan accordingly.
Our team is flexible and responsive, and we’ll always aim to make the process as smooth as possible. We also work closely with your support coordinator (if you have one) to make sure everything lines up with your NDIS plan.
You don’t need to wait for a crisis to make a change—if something feels off, just let us know. We’re here to make sure your support keeps working for you, not the other way around.
Our team brings together over five years of combined experience across nursing, midwifery, aged care, disability support, and mental health. We’ve worked in hospitals, in homes, and in the community—supporting people with all kinds of needs.
What this means for you is that we understand how different parts of life are connected. We don’t just look at one part of your care—we look at the whole picture. That might be managing physical health, building confidence with daily living, or helping you feel more connected to your community.
We also hold relevant qualifications, including Nursing, a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health, and Certificate III in Individual Support. But beyond the qualifications, we’re people who genuinely care. We listen, we’re consistent, and we show up when we say we will.
You’re never just a number with us—we remember the details, we check in, and we tailor our support based on what actually matters to you.
Absolutely. We encourage families, carers, and trusted supports to be involved—if that’s what you want.
We know that the people closest to you often have helpful insight into your routines, challenges, and goals, and they can be an important part of making your support feel more connected. We’re also happy to help explain things clearly to those around you if they’re unsure how NDIS services work or how the plan is being used.
During planning meetings, reviews, or informal catch-ups, we can include family members to make sure everyone is on the same page. It’s all about your comfort—you choose who’s involved and how. If you prefer to keep things private or want to make decisions on your own, that’s respected too. We work alongside you, and your preferences come first, every time.
Our job is to make support feel more manageable—not add more confusion or pressure.
We understand that life doesn’t always follow a 9-to-5 schedule. That’s why our NDIS services are designed to be flexible, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays where needed.
We work with you to understand when support is most useful—whether that’s help getting ready in the morning, assistance with dinner in the evening, or community access on the weekend. We also support participants with routines that change week to week, and we’re used to working around fluctuating energy levels, appointment times, or shift work.
We’ll do our best to match you with a worker who can provide consistency within your preferred timeframe. If your needs change, we’ll review the schedule together and adjust as needed. It’s all about finding a rhythm that works for you—not asking you to fit into ours.
